New York Jets: Week 5 Predictions Against the Philadelphia Eagles

New York Jets

After a long two weeks, the New York Jets are ready to go to battle against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Lincoln and potentially look like a half-decent team. How will the two teams match up against each other and what will they do? How will Luke Falk do in his second career start?  I’ve got all the answers and they’re quite simple.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles come into this game well-rested after a one-and-a-half-week break after playing the Packers last Thursday night. However, the Eagles team is badly banged up with two of their top corners out for this Sunday. The Eagles record is 2-2, but they haven’t gone down without a fight only losing those two games by less four points in high scoring affairs with the Lions and Falcons. The Eagles are competitive as long as Carson Wentz can continue to carry this team and its awful defense on its back. Look for a very pass-heavy offense against a Jets defense that will not have C.J. Mosley and Jordan Jenkins.

New York Jets

The New York Jets are in a tough spot right now as they are coming off a bye week where they anticipated that their franchise QB would suit up against the birds. Unfortunately, the Jets grossly mismanaged the QB situation and will have to start Luke Falk who hasn’t had many reps with the ones. Adam Gase opted not to practice during the bye week and that decision will hurt the Jets as their starting QB will be wildly unprepared. The Jets’ defense has been as solid as they can be with what they have, but they’re still not a great group. If Gregg Williams and the defense can hold their own against the Eagles it’ll be on Adam Gase to finally let the ball travel more than 5 yards on pass plays.

Predictions

Prior to the Sam Darnold news, the Jets were coming into this game with a lot of hope. Unfortunately, any hope Jets fans had is all gone. This is basically an early bye week for the Eagles as they’ll cruise to victory against the Jets in Philadelphia. I’m predicting a generous 31-10 defeat for the Jets as they could easily be even more decimated by a team that is much superior to them in every way.

New York Jets: Team Quarterly Report Weeks 1-4

New York Jets, LeVeon Bell

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have finally made it to October, the most glorious month in sports. Unfortunately for New York Jets fans, October will only cause tears to flow out of our faces. We’re only a quarter into the NFL season and the Jets have proven to be one of the worst teams in the league. Let’s evaluate how the Jets have performed as a team over the past four weeks and why there might be light at the end of the tunnel.

Week 1

Well, we all remember this day, don’t we? A day full of excitement and hope for our bright future and potential emergence into the NFL spotlight. Oh, how we were all misled. We all know the story, the Jets come out and bully Josh Allen take a 16-0 lead and blow it. But why did that happen? We can all blame Kaare Vedvik for being probably the worst kicker the Jets have had ever but let’s dig deeper. Why was Adam Gase so conservative in his game plan against the Bills? I understand Bill’s defense is a top unit but look at how many opportunities the Jets had to close out that game.

I find it hard to believe that a missed extra point and field goal in the first quarter was the main reason we lost that game. The defense collapsed in the fourth quarter after losing C.J. Mosely. The entire team looked tired and unenthused when the game mattered most. Let’s call this a mulligan because there is no way we’re this bad of a team, right?

Week 2

It’s Monday night football baby we’re scheduled to play the Cleveland Browns on national television what could go wrong? Unfortunately for the Jets, everything went wrong. Let’s skip over losing our franchise QB to Mono and get right into the disaster that was our game against the Browns. The entire game we seemed to not be able to move the ball at all on offense even before we lost our Trevor Siemian to an ankle injury. The game plan was pathetic and was filled with nothing but crossing routes, bubble screens, and flats.

The defense wasn’t much better either they did as best as they could but if weren’t for the browns having the second most inept offense in the league the team would’ve gotten annihilated. Gregg Williams is probably our best coach but when both sides of the team can’t work cohesively it all fails. It was a bad loss for the Jets and it only got worse the next week.

Week 3

Let’s be real right now, nobody in the world thought the Jets had a shot in this game, but nobody thought the Jets would be this bad. With Adam Gase trotting out Luke Falk in his first career start the Jets offense seemed overwhelmed with the Patriots defense. The offensive line for the third week in a row has been terrible but even worse is the fact that Adam Gase gave up with just over four minutes left in a two-possession game. There is no excuse for that.

The defense struggled early on but recovered after the first half allowing the Jets to have a chance. The Offense, on the other hand, didn’t get past the 50-yard line until the 3rd quarter. The Offense went 0-12 on third down the entire game. This was a total embarrassment of a game. The Jets were lucky not to get shutout as their only point came from a muffed punt and a pick-six from the Patriots backup QB Jarrett Stidham. At least the football gods showed mercy by allowing the Jets to have an early bye week so their fans could rest their eyes after that brutal game.

Bye Week

Jets fans had a lot of optimism going into this bye week as it gave the team an opportunity to heal up for a brutal week 5 game against the Eagles in Philadelphia. Sam Darnold unfortunately still has mono, but he can do non-contact drills in practice. Adam Gase has stated that offensive line changes are coming, and I know every Jets fan cannot wait to see Ryan Khalil get replaced by Jonotthan Harrison. The Jets season has been a disaster so far but maybe just maybe they can pull a win out in Philly.

New York Jets: Thoughts on week three loss to Patriots

New York Jets

For some reason, this one inspired me. This wasn’t a deflating loss this was almost inspiring. The New York Jets put up a fight at the end with nothing in their corner except a few guys who wanted to fight. There are TONS of issues but a bye week to get healthy could be a great reset for this team after an 0-3 start. So I’m gonna examine the good and the bad from this one as the Jets head into a much needed week off.

The Offensive Line Continues To Stink

The Jets haven’t had a good offensive line in the last 2 or 3 years. Now they have the QB and the RB that they didn’t have when they had a good offensive line. So Joe Douglas set out to improve the offensive line by adding Ryan Kalil. Kalil has looked like he should’ve stayed in retirement. Kelvin Beachum is a guy I personally am a fan of but on a game level he has sucked. Brandon Shell is below average as is Brian Winters. Kelechi Osemele has been the only one actually holding his blocks and playing offensive line. The Jets aren’t going to be able to accomplish anything until the offensive line learns how to do their jobs.

Jamal Adams Deserves Better

Jamal is the heart and soul of this football team. Quite frankly, he deserves better. He gives everything to this team and yet they don’t give it back. The fans were mad at him because he caused a little stir up this week and then today he balled out and got a pick 6. Adams deserves to be in a situation to succeed and I hope it’s with the Jets. The Jets need to do better by him.

The Offensive Play Calling Has Been Horrible

Adam Gase is supposed to be an innovative offensive genius. Those kinds of guys don’t usually run the ball on 3rd & Long situations consistently. Gase needed to be creative today without some key pieces. He failed to do that and quite frankly he’s failed to do that entirely so far. He’s gotta get it together because aside from getting Maccaganan booted and hiring Gregg Williams he’s been good for nothing so far.

Leonard Williams And Trumaine Johnson Need Fo Go

This is a bold statement. I stand by it though. Leonard Williams has been lazy and unproductive for the New York Jets this season. Aside from early success he’s been unproductive for a bulk of his career. Trumaine Johnson was given a boatload of money to come here and he’s been horrible. He got replaced and played 2 snaps today. Both guys won’t change the culture and should just be flipped for whatever value they’ve got left before it’s to late. Leonard Williams still has value but has been a large disappointment, Johnson has minimal value left and has been an even bigger disappointment. Hopefully the Jets can get them on the right track which might just be out of New York.

Heading Into the Bye Week

Now the New York Jets get a much needed rest. They can get healthy and come back with a little momentum and hopefully go on a tear. An 0-3 start doesn’t bode well for success but it’s early and the Jets have time to fix this.

New York Jets: The Curious Case of Trumaine Johnson

New York Jets

Already two games into the 2019 season and what could go wrong has gone wrong for the New York Jets? Adding onto the chaos is the curious case of Trumaine Johnson, and the question of what exactly will the Jets do with their $72 million dollar cornerback?

Concoct a hypothetical nightmare scenario for an NFL franchise two weeks into the season, and chances are the New York Jets have matched or exceeded that simulated scenario. The Jets, now having to start their third-string quarterback after losing Sam Darnold to mono and Trevor Sieman to a season-ending injury, also are without key starters on defense like C.J. Mosley.

The icing on the cake: surprise, they are also 0-2 on the regular season, with a daunting schedule awaiting them going forward.

As one can see, the Jets already have plenty of issues and obstacle to overcome as it is, though most if not all of these are due to health and injuries. New York also has a $72 million dollar situation to handle as well, the case of the (healthy) Trumaine Johnson.

The Jets’ prized free-agent acquisition from a season ago has a rough start to the 2019 season, to say the least. In the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Johnson allowed seven catches on eight targets for 117 yards. He didn’t even get the chance to bounce back in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, as he was a healthy scratch, regulated to wait on the sidelines.

In fairness, giving up 117 yards at home to begin the season might be all that one needs to see, at least for head coach Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Greg Williams.

Trumaine Johnson had an up-and-down (albeit injured) inaugural season with the Jets, where he allowed 40 catches and a 75.9 quarterback rating through 10 games under Todd Bowles. 2019 would be the chance to start anew on a clean slate, and yet it’s already Week 3 and it seems like he might be done for good in New Jersey.

Johnson’s disgruntled state might become a toll on the sidelines, but he’s also carrying a financial toll as well. Long story short, Trumaine Johnson’s contract leaves a cap hit come this season and next, making no logical sense for the Jets to release him. Their best bet, in reality, would be to trade him if they truly believe his days with the Jets are done.

But to accomplish that, trading for Johnson needs to be perceived as worthwhile to other NFL franchises. There are plenty of needs for help in the secondary, but will team necessarily want to trade for a $72 million dollar defensive back that played his way out of the rotation in a matter of just one regular-season game?

Injuries and a daunting schedule are the primary obstacles in the Jets’ way for the time being, but Trumaine Johnson (if allowed) can become another headache to an already chaotic start to the season. Does Johnson get traded, released, or remain regulated to the sidelines?

Whatever Johnson’s future may be, the hope is that the Jets’ next move is the right one. Then again, it can’t possibly get worse than it is now, can it?

New York Jets: Trevor Siemian To Start In Wake Of Darnold’s Absence

New York Jets, Sam Darnold

Mono, is a tough illness. It makes you heavily contagious and it’s a butt-kicker. It now has taken out the franchise quarterback, Sam Darnold. Darnold was reportedly very sick and dropping weight excessively, this resulted in him being sent home on Wednesday with “strep throat”. Symptoms progressed and Donald was diagnosed with mono. This will take him out of action for at least a few weeks. So now, in the week of his absence with a stretch of huge games coming up, Trevor Siemian must be trusted to step up and fill in for Darnold.

Trevor Siemian Has Experience

This is not Trevor Siemian’s first rodeo as a starting quarterback. When Peyton Manning retired and Brock Osweiler left Siemian became the QB 1 in Denver. Siemian inherited a defending super bowl championship squad and put up really solid first starting season numbers. Siemian finished the season with 3,401 yards, 18 TDs, and 10 INTs. Then with the job his to lose he started 10/16 games and finished his year with 2,285 yards, 12 TDs, and 14 INTs. Siemian struggled and ultimately lost his starting job because of it. Siemian went to Minnesota briefly but found a home for this season with the New York Jets as the backup to Sam Darnold. Coach Gase reportedly felt Siemian could be a capable short term starter. Now, Siemian will have to prove his coach right.

Trevor Siemian Could See Success

Unlike other analysts I’m not writing off the games Siemian starts. As I dove deeper into it, Siemian is very good at allowing the ball to be put into playmakers hands. He also will have a bunch of big playmakers who are perfect for check-downs and screen passes in Robby Anderson, Ty Montgomery, Le’Veon Bell, and Jamison Crowder. If those 4 are used to be his security blankets and allow him to dump it off to them, it could really help. The most familiar weapon he will have is new WR Demaryius Thomas. Thomas played some of his best ball with Adam Gase as his coordinator and if Gase can take advantage of his skill set in the absence of Enunwa it could look like a really good trade for the Jets. Thomas will be able to be eased in especially because his QB for the next few games already has a rhythm with him. Siemian and Thomas have been teammates since Siemian came into the league. They built a solid connection and Gase would be wise to use that to their advantage. The only major concern is the setup of the offense around Siemian. Darnold is mobile and with an offensive line that is still not cohesive, that is essential. Siemian is a pure pocket passer who may struggle in this situation. If he can utilize the Jets playmakers as I previously mentioned in check down situations that could ease the pressure slightly.

In The End, It’s Only Temporary

Sam Darnold will be back soon. However, the Jets face a huge stretch of games with some being must win. The New York Jets need to pull off a win against a few of these squads while Darnold is absent or the Jets can kiss their hopes goodbye. If they walk into the Bye Week at 0-3 they already will be in deep trouble. Quite frankly the pressure is on Siemian and if he can’t deliver the Jets are screwed.

The New York Jets Lose A Heart Breaker To Buffalo

I’m not going to lie this one hurts, real bad. This game and this season were things Jets fans went into with loft expectations. Just like they always do, the Jets can’t be perfect. There was a lot of good and bad in this game. Ultimately though, the New York Jets blew many opportunities to win this game and the Bills walked away with a 17-16 win.

Le’Veon Bell Is The Focal Point Of The Offense

Everything went through Le’Veon Bell, the questions about rust were dispelled. The Jets gave him reps early and often. He had 17 carries for 60 yards and 6 receptions for 32 yards and a score. He showed off his patience and big-play ability that made him a superstar in the first place and he showed that he wasn’t missing a beat. The problem was, it was almost as though Adam Gase was too reliant on Bell. He didn’t mix match Ty Montgomery in there which is something that can throw defenses off. The ball was not spread around it was just continuously fed to Bell. Bell is a superstar but Gase needs to spread the ball around to see some more offensive success.

Jamison Crowder Was A Safety Net

Jamison Crowder was a slightly underrated acquisition by the Jets. He never really has fulfilled his potential due in part to injuries. Crowder and Sam Darnold have built up really good timing and seem to be working well. Crowder was able to bail Darnold out and be a scapegoat of sorts. However he was almost fed the ball to much, he had 14 receptions for 99 yards. Crowder played great but the Jets really need to spread the ball around more.

Kicking Woes Continue For Gang Green

Kaare Vedvik was a mess right from warm-ups. He was inconsistent and as the game began it was apparent. After a big pick 6 by C.J. Mosley, Vedvik missed the extra point then despite a bad hold, Vedvik missed a field goal by a country mile. Vedvik isn’t the answer and the Jets will continue to search because the kicking heavily contributed to this loss.

Mosley Shines, Hewitt Impresses

C.J. Mosley finished today’s game with 5 tackles, 2 PDs, 1 FR, 1 INT, and a TD. He lit it up and began to prove the New York Jets made a really wise investment. Then when he was out with his groin issue (something to watch), the team seemingly fell apart. Mosley was a huge part of the success today and shined big time. Neville Hewitt, in replacement of Avery Willamson, shined as well. Hewitt had an INT, 8 tackles, 1 TFL, and a PD. He had a solid day and raised some eyebrows of many.

Missed Opportunities

This section will be short. Any time a team has 4 forced turnovers and a 16-0 lead. It should be bigger and at the very least have been a win. The football Gods seemingly gave the Jets every shot to win and they couldn’t.

Browns Are Next

This one stung, I’ll dive more in-depth throughout the week but now it’s Cleveland Browns week. The Browns played even worse than the New York Jets and both sides have a lot to prove. It’s gonna be a hell of a battle and the Jets will need to bounce back.

The New York Jets Success Hinges On Sam Darnold

New York Jets, Sam Darnold

Sophomore season is something I often talk about in my articles as often time a “slump” or a “breakout” year for players. The New York Jets now rest their hopes of a successful season on the shoulders of a talented QB heading into his sophomore season. That QB is Sam Darnold.

What’s Different For The Jets

Maybe the most loaded question one could ponder. The Jets improved on quite frankly every aspect. The Jets brought in an offensive-minded head coach with a solid track record in Adam Gase. He worked with Peyton Manning and plans to emulate some of that coaching style with Darnold. They then brought in superstar running back Le’Veon Bell who immediately takes the pressure off Darnold and adds a unique dynamic to the Jets offense. The Jets added speedy slot receiver Jamison Crowder who has already built up a good relationship with Darnold and the two click well already. The Jets brought in Ty Montgomery as well to be a dynamic weapon among others.

The New York Jets added new pieces to the offensive line like Kelechi Osemele and Ryan Kalil and will hope to give Darnold stability. The Jets then added the big piece to the front office with Joe Douglas being brought in to take the reigns of the franchise. The Jets brought in, as Jamal Adams calls them, “Dogs” and truly added guys who fit that mold. They’ve built a good group behind Darnold and are going to be able to take some pressure off of him by adding them.

Why Sam Darnold Is Special

Mobility: Darnold is able to change the plays with his feet. When the play breaks down he has the ability to continue to make plays by either running it or keeping calm and finding a spot for the ball. Darnold is deadly accurate on the move and is able to hit his guys and extend the play. It’s a special trait to have and it was something that became more apparent towards the end of the season.

Poise: If you listen to him speak or watch him play you can just see how special he is. He is able to be so calm and keep his poise despite all the obstacles in his way on and off the field. That trait sets him apart from a lot of QBs.

Arm: Darnold is not only accurate but throws a beautiful deep ball. Darnold has a special arm but it’s not his best trait. The fact is his arm is just second to everything else he can do so phenomenally.

Sam Darnold Is Special

What we’ve known all along is Sam is special. Those traits are just some of the many that set him apart. He was special towards the end of the season and now he has a chance to continue his momentum with even more talent around him. The season hinges on the success of Sam. So, Sam the balls in your court and the teams in your hands. What happens next is up to you.

New York Jets: 6 Games That Adam Gase Needs to Win in 2019

New York Jets head coach, Adam Gase.

The New York Jets have put together their best team on paper in the past ten years and are making a potential run for the playoffs this season. With the new additions of Le’Veon Bell, C.J. Mosely, Ryan Kalil and other the Jets are set up for success. There is one element to the Jets that create cause for concern. The head coach. Adam Gase is on his second stint as a head coach in the NFL after being fired from the Miami Dolphins. Adam Gase had very little success in Miami as his offense was consistently one of the worst in the league. Even though the slate has been wiped clean in New York the Jets should not hesitate to ax Gase if he does not produce results in year one. If Adam Gase wants to stick around in New York, he will have to win early on. I have compiled a list of 6 teams that Adam Gase must beat this season if he wants a second year in the big apple. If Adam Gase were to beat at least 4 of the 6 teams then we can finally say the Jets are contenders for the first time in over ten years.

Cleveland Browns

I know it might be too early to say this, but this will be the game that defines the New York Jets season. The Cleveland Browns are in the same boat as the New York Jets, they have built a championship-caliber roster and are taking advantage of their quarterback’s rookie contract. Over the past ten years, the New York Jets have faced off against the Browns a total of 6 times winning 5 of the 6. The games between the Browns and Jets have always been close even in 2010 when the Jets were 11-5 and the Browns were 5-11. If Adam Gase can pull off the win on Monday night week 2 then they will have set the foundation for a successful season.

New England Patriots at Foxboro

The Jets will have a tough week 3 matchup against the Patriots in Foxboro. The Jets, Patriots rivalry is one of the most historic rivalries in sports, but it is also one of the worst. The New York Jets are never able to compete with the Patriots winning only 4 times out of 20 games in the past ten years. If Adam Gase wants to go to the playoffs or have any success in New York he must beat the Patriots, especially in Foxboro. If the Jets make the playoffs there is a decent chance, they will play the Pats in Foxboro and it would be a huge source of momentum if they can reflect on their win earlier in the year.

Philadelphia Eagles

The beginning of the Jets schedule has them playing a lot of playoffs teams and that is the perfect test to see if the Jets can hang with the big boys. The Eagles are coming off another magical season from Nick Foles and Co but now they have their franchise QB, Carson Wentz, back healthy. The Eagles own the New York Jets, winning every single game against them in franchise history. If the New York Jets can beat the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, it’ll give them a huge boost of confidence.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best rosters in the league and are fresh off a 10-6 2018 season. The Cowboys defense is one of the best all-around defenses in the league with guys like Byron Jones, Demarcus Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, and many others. The offense has its stars too like Ezekiel Elliot and Amari Cooper. The New York Jets will have to be great on both sides of the ball and this game will be a test to see how they play against teams they aren’t familiar playing.

Baltimore Ravens

The New York Jets will play the Baltimore Ravens towards the tail end of the year and assuming they’re in the playoff race that game would be huge. The Ravens figure to be fighting for a playoff spot this season and will be in the second year of the Lamar Jackson project. The New York Jets will enter a short week as they play the Ravens on Thursday night football. The Jets will have their endurance tested that week as they will be playing in Baltimore during December. Adam Gase will have to rally the troops to lead them into battle under bad conditions. This game could be a momentum starter for the Jets at the end of the season.

Pittsburgh Steelers

For the 6th game, the Jets will play another playoff-caliber team in the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers spent this offseason trimming the fat off their team, and they figure to be even better of a squad heading into this season without the drama from past years. This will probably be the second hardest game the Jets play all season because the Steelers are a powerhouse in the NFL. This will be the ultimate test for the Jets defense as Pittsburgh’s offense is one of the most explosive in the league.

The Jets should be expected to beat these teams as these are most likely teams that’ll be making the playoffs. If the Jets are unable to win at least 4 of these 6 games, then the Jets should reconsider having Adam Gase as their head coach.

New York Jets: Week One Prediction vs Buffalo Bills

New York Jets

Football is back and the New York Jets will open the 2019 regular season in MetLife Stadium against the division rival Buffalo Bills. The two franchises have been starved for success and they both believe that this will be their season in which they can dethrone the Patriots and reign supreme in the AFC East. Second-year quarterback’s Josh Allen and Sam Darnold will face-off, both are best friends off the field but on Sunday they will be mortal enemies. Both Squads have surrounded their young QB’s with talent over the offseason and are both ready to faceoff week 1. Who will come out victorious in this pivotal division matchup?

Buffalo Bills

The Bills are a team that is flying under the radar this season as they did not add any big names and have over the past 20 years been a laughingstock, but they are not to be taken lightly. According to Pro Football Reference, the Bills defense ranked top 5 in yards allowed, 1st downs, yards per play and passing yards allowed last season. Manned by stud cornerback Tre’Davious White the Buffalo Bills pass defense is a force to be reckoned with. The weak link of the Buffalo Bills is the offense, more specifically the passing game. According to Pro Football Reference, the Buffalo Bills finished top three in interceptions and bottom three in passing yards and passing touchdowns. However, Josh Allen did show promise as a dual-threat quarterback running for 631 yards and 8 touchdowns. If Josh Allen can become a more consistent passer the Buffalo Bills would be the favorite to win this game.

New York Jets

The New York Jets had a splash offseason throwing money at superstars at every position. With the additions of Le’Veon Bell, Kelechi Osemele and Ryan Khalil the Jets offense should take a significant leap this year. In 2018 the Jets had a middle of the pack defense followed by a bottom-five offense. This year the New York Jets will be relying heavily on the potential of their offseason acquisitions and the new offense being implemented by Adam Gase. There are a lot of unknowns with the Jets because we just haven’t seen enough of Adam Gase.

Prediction

This game is so evenly matched that it’s very hard to pick a winner. If the Buffalo Bills can air it out efficiently, they will be victorious. On the other hand, if the New York Jets can establish a run game and have most of the time of possession then they will win. This game will be a tight one, but the Bills will edge out just barely in a 24-17 win in east Rutherford. Bill will win mostly because the Jets secondary is a joke and they’ll be entering the second year of the Brian Daboll offense.

New York Jets: Preseason Preview New York Jets vs New Orleans Saints

New York Jets

The New York Jets will take on the New Orleans Saints in MetLife stadium this Saturday for their third preseason game, and here’s what you should expect from the green and white.

The first taste of Adam Gase

The third game of the preseason marks the start of game-planning for opposing teams and getting in the groove of a typical NFL week. We will see what Sam Darnold looks like under Adam Gase’s offense. If the offense comes out hot like they have the past two preseason games, Jets fans should have a lot to look forward to this season.

Gregg Williams

Gregg Williams will have his work cut out for him this week facing the potent Saints offense for at least a half. The 30-year vet will have Drew Brees faceoff against his thin secondary. This is a perfect matchup for the Jets because we will see how Gregg Williams disguises the Jets Achilles heel. If the Jets secondary show any promise, then the Jets will only get better as the team recoups from injury.

Big game for New York Jets backups

The third preseason game is a little taste of reality for most of the reserves in the NFL as the starters play most of the game. For these fringe players to make the team, they will have to contribute on special teams. Some players to watch for will be Valentine Holmes, Trenton Cannon, Anthony Wint, and Stephone Anthony.
